TV Talk

Life isn't all about our weight. It's also about TV. With the writer's strike over, I'm overwhelmed with all of the new shows. I'm just like a kid in a candy shop! Normally this time of year I'm complaining about the networks only doing 18 or so shows a year and the seasons finishing too soon. Not this year!

So, who's watching what this year? I just finished watching Survivor. I haven't watched the show for so many years, that I don't recognize many of the "favs". I'm enjoying it again. I also have CSI & Without a Trace to watch.

What really has me excited is this: Battlestar Galactica starts its (sadly) last season tomorrow and we (Canadians) don't have to wait six or so weeks to see it - looks like the Space Channel is going to run it right away. This never happens. I watched all of Sex and the City six weeks behind. Poor me. Anyhow, I digress. I, of course, am an ENTIRE season behind. Since I have my fancy new DVR machine though.....NOT and issue!! Husband & I are re-watching Season 2, have Season 3 still in the wrapper waiting and then....I have a good life!!

To the Big Brother watchers out there: I'm still behind on watching (Natalie just got HOH and I've seen 1/2 of the food competition), but.....does anyone else out there like Natalie MORE now that Mat isn't in the house? I found her one of the most pathetic women I had ever seen before, but now that that has been taken out of the equation, I find her kinda funny. Personally, I have found this group of people kinda vile. Only a couple of them seem like regular folk. Guess that is what happens when you have to do quick casting.

I made it through my personal training session yesterday. Just barely. Sadly I relapsed on the way home from the Club and suffered a great personal indignity. Today I am hopeful to make it through the day like a regular gal. Unfortunately for my challenge, I will only have 1 mile to report to Tigerlilly. One mile. Sheesh......

Not much on the agenda for today. Dinner out with my friend. I hope I make it through that ok. This weekend should be quiet.

Eh, I guess that's about it for now. Have a healthy day bloggers.

  1. Thanks for the encouragement, Fatinah!:-)

As for TV - I agree with you - it's insane, all of the options. I've been so used to the deprivation, I don't know where to begin.

have a lovely weekend - hope it's warming up on your side of the country.

  3. I've loved Biggest Loser this season. My life definitely revolves around some of these TV shows, too.
