Looks like I'm on Team Lynn! Woohoo!!
I've been to the gym already today. Today was a weights day. It went well. One part of my routine today was to do burpees. Oy! They are so hard. I had a break through though. I did 3 sets of 12 of them. Yay! Holy noodle, was I panting after each set. They are such a great exercise. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to add a little zing to their routine.
I did the Wii Fit last night. Did my yoga poses and played on some balance games. I have some serious inabilities when it comes to eye/movement-reaction coordination. I can't hit those soccer balls to save my life! I do, however, seem to have an uncanny ability to get hit in the head with soccer SHOES!!
I will do some Wii Fit today again. It is just so much fun and it is 30 minutes that I'm not sitting on my ass watching tv.
I am making pork roast tonight for supper. Yum. I will serve it with brown rice and fried red & yellow peppers.
Oh, ya, I think I need to buy some new running shoes. I'm going to go through my journals and see how many kilometers I got out of this last pair. It always amazes me how you just wake up one day and you just know that you need new shoes. For me I can tell because my feet hurt when I get out of bed. Of course, it could just be from doing the Palm Pose on the Wii... ;-)
