Monday and a missed swim class

I have to leave in 30 minutes to go pick my dad up from the airport. Since I was busy running around cleaning up so that he didn't see what a mess we live in, I missed my swim class. I have a run planned for today anyhow, so I will still have some activity, but.....I'm still kinda bummed about missing class.

I'm a nervous eater. Always have been. Likely always will be. I was feeling the stress of the father visit (I didn't grow up with him, and so I don't know him well) and I compensated with the wrong foods. I should have cut up some veggies and munched away. Or gone for a walk. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Today, the stress is still there, but I am making a conscious effort to not munch it away. Mostly 'cause I have to report to you guys, and one of our challengers has already reported an obscenely high weight loss. Guess the challenge is on.

Didn't take my starting picture cause we got busy. I got my hair cut yesterday. I think it looks cute, but husband may think it is too short. Oh, well. In any case, I will take it after I post this and upload it later.

Mmm, not much else on the go. Goal today is 22 daily target points and 1/2 of any activity points I earn. Which should be 4.

I have a terrible kink in my neck this morning. I think I need a massage.

Have an on program, on point healthy day bloggers!

  1. We all have those coulda, shoulda times, but you are making the effort to do the right thing today. Good for you. You can do this!

  2. What is your swimming motivation? do you have a swimming goal? What about a sprint triathlon next summer? I would miss a class too if I had company coming. I am a huge procrastinator. I am procrastinating right now!!! :)

  4. Honesty will get you everywhere! I'm trying to kick my "snacky-ness" lately with some delicious warm herbal teas (wild raspberry or something tastey).

If you mean my WI of yesterday, dont take it too seriously, my WI from last week showed a HUGE gain from eating a salt beef dinner which was incredibly high in sodium and most of that loss was water. Results like that will not be regular occurences. It was fun to get yas all jazzed up with it though ;-)
