Living through the day after the day after

Well, here we are, the day after the day after. My toes really, really hurt today! Silly, eh? Let's recap:

Yesterday I had a dental appt. My dentist is really nice, but gosh, I just hate the whole thing. Well, I had something happen that had never happened before. I just about pulled his hand away WHILE he was freezing me! Yikes. Anyhow, I made it through the work, and ended up with a really bad headache.

Fast forward to later in the afternoon - headache is now monumental....I get up off the couch long enough to down a handful of Advil and then go lay down again. This is now officially the laziest day I've ever had. I think, before dozing off, heck, I walked 22k yesterday, I can be a blob with my headache.

Finally, around 8:00, my headache was gone. So, I got changed and went for my walk. Did I tell you all about the skirt I bought? It is a running skirt, with the shorts underneath? So pretty. Anyhow, I wore that. I went for my walk feeling like a million bucks.

All of this is to say that my toes must have been jamming up against my runner during the race, and then when I went for my walk last night, it irritated them. This morning, I had to wear my crocks thongs to coffee. Couldn't even stand my socks on. Hmmm. Bummer

Had a good day food wise. Just on my way to update SparkPeople - I just couldn't read yesterday.

Have a healthy day bloggers!!

  2. I had a dentist appt. today too. Mine sounds a lot better than yours though. It was time for my new slides to be taken. They're really uncomfortable and make me gag, but it still sounds a lot better than your day.

  4. Good Job on getting out for the walk, even when you had "being a blob" on your mind, with the headache and all. I probably would've continued to be a blob, even after the headache disappeared, haha.
