Harry Potter book finished - NO SPOILERS

All I'm going to say is I loved the book and I thought she did a great job with the story.

Let me tell you all about my story of GETTING the book. I had pre-ordered on-line for general delivery to the house, figuring I would just read it when I got it. Then Chapters sent an e-mail saying they had decided to deliver all the books on the release day - anywhere between 9:00 - 6:00. I, of course, then decided that I had to read it right away, cause I knew what day I was getting it. As you all know, I had a dinner party Saturday night starting at 6:00. Any guesses of when the book FINALLY showed up? 5:46!!!!! I waited all f*cking day - and then only had 14 minutes to read. I was sure I wouldn't get it at all. I told the delivery dude when I opened the door "I take back all the mean things I've been thinking about you all day". He tried to make small talk about my last name - but I was like "dude - I only have 14 minutes!" He told me they had 7,000 copies that they delivered on Saturday!

I read for the 14 minutes but by the time my company left, I'm sad to say I was too drunk to focus on the letters. I then had to devote my entire day yesterday to the book. Needless to say, I didn't get my walk in yesterday. It was a sacrifice I had to make! HAHA!

Anyhow, I have lots to do today since I did nothing yesterday but read. Have a healthy day bloggers!

  2. I'm with Carolyn, I've never seen the movies nor read the books, I'm afraid I will be throughly addicted as soon as I pick one up!

Glad to hear that you liked it. And that you were able to get it this weekend.
