Well, after many weeks of thinking about, commenting about it, I did it. I got off my ass and did C25K (Fatmom - now you have a virtual running buddy). I picked up where I left off - week 3. My first 90 second run I thought there was a good chance I would just drop dead. But, I didn't, and by the 3 minute run, I found my groove. I'm back, baby!
Anyhow, I'm glad I went. I feel really good right now. Once I hit publish on this post, I'm going to stretch. Otherwise, you know tomorrow's post will be me whining about being sore.
Not much else new. Work is off to a very positive start this week. Just waiting for the other shoe to drop - cause my stuff went really well. So well in fact that I don't think I will need to go in Thursday or Friday - yay for me!
Have a healthy day bloggers!
PS: To WW'ers out there doing C25K - do you consider this high intensity when using the points booster for activity points????
Great Job!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about doing the C25K I started it last year, got to about week 6 and then I had troubles with my knee so right now I am sticking to power walking.
It's a great program though so I hope you keep it up!
Glad to hear that you made it through. I keep trying the program, just haven't managed to make it through the first day yet.
ReplyDeleteAs for the points, when I do some sort of interval stuff I break it up by the time for each intensity. So, the time running would be high intensity, and the recovery time/warm up/cool down would be a lower intensity.
I love that you are starting to run now too, the bloggers are all runners, yeah!
