Phew. I'm glad the weekend is over. I need a fresh start.
I did my run today with my friend. Our 5.6k route. 465 calories gone. Yay!! Part of the run was hard because of the ice and snow. Yes, that's right. It snowed this weekend. Crap. My legs are a smiggen sore just 'cause I was so tense on the ice.
I found a rather large knot in my back yesterday. I have to book a massage. I'm putting it off because I know it will really hurt. But, it has to be done. I can feel other parts getting sore because my body must be compensating.
I've been tagged by Cory - I need to think a bit of some things to tell you all about.
Have a healthy day bloggers!
Snow! I'm so jealous. I would move if I didn't secretly love where I live!
ReplyDeleteOh wow a massage does sound nice.
ReplyDeleteDang, snow and ice? Wow, we're about to get a cold front where the temp will drop from 80 degrees F to 60 degrees F, and I was feeling sorry for myself! Ha!
ReplyDeleteWell, get that massage, and good on ya' for getting out there and running in that weather. MY HERO!
Hey - sorry I didn't get to you sooner. I wanted you to know that the book is kind of icky and scary - I listened to the audio version and I had to skip a couple of tracks because they were making me uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely book a massage, that sounds great!
Ugh... snow. I HATE snow.
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm sad to hear that you are having some motivational problems. There are a lot of things that should be keeping you going.. like being healthy for your kids, for your family.. to live a longer and happier life... to fit into an old pair of pants?.. maybe you could buy an awesome dress, or shirt or pants that are a couple of sized smaller then you are right now.. and THAT could me what keeps you going.
I live in the country.. and am married to a bull rider... so I never really get the chance to dress fancy for new years parties.. but this year I really want to look good in my Rockies by then.. maybe you could buy a dress for New Years Eve party and make that your goal?
And girl.. you better throw that candy away!
Great job on the running.. and I will definitley look up those IT band stretches. Thanks!!
